Supporting communities to protect nature in Nyungwe National Park, Rwanda
NYUCO at a Glance
A Bit of Background
We established NYUCO (The Nyungwe Conservation and Community Development Foundation) in 2019 as a UK charity to provide support to organisations working with communities to protect the wildlife and ecosystems in Nyungwe National Park, Rwanda. We achieve our work primarily through supporting the work of BIOCOOR Rwanda, a highly effective Rwanda community conservation organisation working in and around the Nyungwe area.
